A Message From Our Owner 

Mighty Oak Floors was started in 1975 by Berry Tenney. Berry learned flooring in a four-year apprenticeship with a gentleman from Norway. Later, I came to work for Berry and went through an apprenticeship. When Berry turned 66, he and his wife had four employees working for Mighty Oak Floors.

They decided I was the one they wished to take over the business. They chose me to become owner because I stayed true to the old ways while incorporating new sanding and finishing procedures taught at modern finishing schools.

We use the best flooring equipment on the market with each wood floor project to ensure a timeless look. The core of our sanders is our Humel Drum Sander, made in Germany and retailing for over seventeen thousand dollars. We finish almost every floor with a high-end product, our Glista Swedish Floor Finish.

Our process and passion ensure the best wood floors for our customers. We take the time to talk with customers and learn exactly what they want, and then we help them achieve the beauty and value they deserve.
